Theft or Attempted Theft

Theft or attempted theft including Malicious Acts.

Impact

Impact by a vehicle, falling trees or branches.

Fire, Explosion, Earthquake, Lightning

Loss or damage by fire, explosion or earthquake. Lightning including power surge.

Flood or Escaped Liquid

Flooding, escaped liquid (e.g. from washing machines, toilets or hot water systems.

Breakage of Glass

Replacement if glass is damaged.

Fusion of an Electric Motor

Including air-conditioning systems and fridges.

Broader protection & additional cover

If you require a broader level of protection, we can extend your home insurance policy to provide cover for accidental loss or damage. Automatic cover is provided for your contents temporarily away from your home, anywhere in the world.

Higher levels of cover are available for higher valued homes, personal fine art, antiques and jewellery.

Insurance is like any other product, you pay for what you get. There are many different insurers offering policies in different shapes and forms.

  • The covering of normally dry land by water that has escaped or been released from the normal confines of:
  • Any lake, or any river, creek or other natural watercourse, whether or not altered or modified; or
  • Any reservoir, canal, or dam.

Yes. First Peoples Insurance can arrange monthly premium funding for many insurance policies through approved premium funding providers.

For commercial insurance policies, the interest charged on a premium funding loan may be tax deductible, depending on your circumstances. Tax treatment differs for personal insurance products and may not be deductible.

You should seek advice from your accountant or tax adviser regarding the tax implications of any premium funding arrangement.
